The entire car media was plunged into crisis this week with news that several long-serving motoring journalists have gone blind.
‘This is a complete disaster,’ admitted one magazine editor. ‘Loads of journos have gone blind, and several others can’t drive because of callouses on their palms.’
‘We’re very sorry to hear about these problems for car journalism,’ said a spokesman for popular online grot cupboard YouPorn. ‘But we’ve got issues of our own since demand for our smut has suddenly disappeared, though only in areas where car journalists live.’
